Deepening foundations in material expression & visual language.
cultivating an INTUITIVE art practice ….
I’m From 9 th Feb to 4th May
3-Month Guided Self Practice (Online)
Following my intuitively guided clay workshops in Ibiza and Formentera over the years, I felt called to bring this way of working into an online retreat for artists and seekers.
I am an artist of earth alchemy and student of yoga & breath. A living lineage of wisdom walks with me along an ancient path.
I offer a space in time — a gentle, grounded, and down-to-earth mentorship that supports artists on their journey. This space is designed to offer clarity and confidence, enhance creative expression, and develop ways of adapting and evolving your own clay practice.
This is fully online, allowing you the peace & pace of your own environment, with freedom & use of your materials.
Sessions are held weekly so we can come together , with clay as the meeting place for our intentions : in our art space — kitchen , forests or beaches ( as long as you have wifi & clay )
What is at the heart of our time together -
Over three months, our sessions focus on strengthening enquiry and process, refining decision-making, and exploring the subtle qualities of clay, organic form, and surface details through harnessing ancient technologies and simple, time-honoured methods.
Each session begins with gentle somatic yogic breath to attune and open the body to elemental awareness. Through this grounding light we move with rhythmic, intuitive making with intention - guided by the same principles I use in my sculptural practice.
How we will move through the weeks
. Reflecting on and actively developing your existing body of work through sketching, inspiration & challenges.
. Cultivating confidence in vessel-making and holding form through ancient and intuitive hand to clay processes of coiling and pinching, feeling into the clay and learning its subtle qualities.
. Self enquiry through form - hands moving with clay as an elemental dialogue and quiet reflection of our own nature.
. The art of listening , cultivating santosha - contentment through material contact & expression.
• Understanding the qualities of different clays — refining a meaningful clay body
• Exploring surface, texture & glaze as intrinsic qualities of growth through material intelligence.
• Journaling to help you develop visual, reflective material & any technical notes.
Practical areas to consider -
You will require access to a laptop, Zoom, Wi-Fi, and clay.
If you wish to fire your work, access to a kiln is recommended.
You choose how and when you create between sessions — this is where the roots grow - and each week we will be tuning into your own practice.
The intention of guided mentorship is to walk alongside you, offering tools that may support your unfolding and growth.
In Summary
• 3-Month Mentorship
. 12 weekly 1-hour sessions
. A few places are open due to the nature of one-to-one.

Collective Vision
An organic process of visualisation , inspiration and specification for Bespoke clients. Moving through tablewares collections , wall art , vessel & indigenous textiles.
WORKING TOGETHER WITH INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND BRANDS OR GALLERIES ON NEW ART COLLECTIONS OR OFFERING AN INTUITIVELY DESIGN LED VISION.
Plan with Purpose
Every project is different. Theres timelines and organic seasonal making cycles , with natural materials & old ways. Remaining flexible and responsive to make sure the process purposes the flow.
Materiality & Ethos
An emerging “truth to material “body of work reflecting responsible earth based art practices, with an understanding of clay & material alchemy of natural biospheres
The materials hold intrinsic value in their natural state , moving away from the earth resources as extraction using harmful processes & exploitive potential.
Local Natural Growth & Earth Sovereignty
Swadesi or Localisation is an approach Sarah has used in creating her visual narrative.
Her woven textiles and clothing are an extension of this philosophy. It’s possible for a deeper ecology within art & design to be received as a “new modern” woven into process & local economic systems.

It has been a pleasure collaborating with Sarah on the tableware collection designed to offer our client and their guests a truly bespoke dining experience.
Her expertise was instrumental in curating a selection that beautifully aligned with our client’s vision of dining within a wabi-sabi aesthetic.
As is often the case with our projects, we faced tight deadlines, yet Sarah delivered a substantial quantity on time and with exceptional quality.
We greatly appreciate her dedication and look forward to working with her again.Sarah is one of the finalists for the BOAT international Craftsmanship Awards for 2026

Sarah was invited by the directors of Agua Madera to design the front of house tablewares and consult with her wabi sabi raw design aesthetic - natural simplicity . Part of the consultancy included sourcing textiles, and collaborating with her Indian Khadi handloomed for her visual curation. - Sarah created her own unique tablewares, focusing on the contours and shapes of the natural environment like earth & ocean [agua] rocks , the carob trees hanging over the lunch tables , her collection included ash glazes from trees [ madera ] - she also holds workshops with her earth intuitive clay approach in the Agrotourismo.

I was invited to create ceramics branded for Legend Travis Scott for a design event in Austria - creating a brutalist vessel and tablewares that where distinctly my aesthetic but branded words and blue / gold colours where in keeping with his edge.
